The LI group went to the Botanic Gardens in Dundee at the end of June. It was a new experience for most of the group, only one had been to the botanic gardens previously. The gardens were in bloom with lots of colours, smells and textures as well and lots of bird sounds, it was a real sensory experience. The group loved the whole experience and found it a calming place to be. One of the guys said they hadn’t experienced anything like it. There is a large Australian garden which felt like you could be in Australia with the eucalyptus trees. Everyone was fascinated by the smell of the leaves!
