Dave Simpson – Chairperson
I joined the Perth Six Circle Management Committee in April 2021 as a Policy Advisor and since then have taken over the role of Chairperson from the 1 August 2021. I have worked in the Private and Public Sectors for over 45 years and have extensive knowledge of business processes. I hold degrees in the following professional bodies; Management Institute, Institute of Personnel and Development and Institute of Environment and Assessment. I have extensive knowledge in Risk Management and Quality Management Systems which will facilitate improvements in Perth Six Circle Corporate Governance and Management Committee role and responsibilities.
Ian Riley
My name is Ian and I have served on the management board for many years, using my expertise as an accountant to help Perth Six Circle as well as my passion to volunteer in the third sector. I have a passion for cricket and have been an umpire for many many years supporting local clubs and matches.
Julie Ringsell
Hi, my name is Julie Ringsell and I work in the third sector supporting people living with HIV and/or HVC. Coming from a corporate background into the third sector, I hope to use my experiences, skills, knowledge and connections gained over the years to benefit this amazing organisation. It’s my personal value that we should ensure equity for all. We all need to promote fairness along with equality, however, equity achieves this by treating people differently according to their needs.
Rhona Campbell
My name is Rhona Campbell, I moved from Dundee to London, living there for 30 years managing children’s centres and after school clubs, I moved back to Dundee in 2015 taking up a role with Angus Council. For the last 4 years I have worked for Action on Hearing Loss/RNID (Royal National Institute for the Deaf) within VisionPK in Perth providing sensory support for people living in Perth & Kinross. As part of my role I travel around P&K and enjoy stopping for my packed lunch at some of the beautiful places. I am a big reader and am a member of 2 book clubs. I have 2 adult sons and enjoy family get togethers’ with my extended family. I volunteer at Maggies Centre in Dundee after receiving great support from them.
Stewart Tweedle
Hi, my name is Stewart Tweedlie and I volunteer supporting Perth Six Circle as a board member. I bring a number of years’ experience, previously I worked as a casework manager for the Scottish Prison Service, having retired only last year my focus remains on supporting others and supporting this organisation. I hope to bring not only my experience of working with a person-centred approach, but also my experience of multi-agency networking, this to best align resources and assist to help deliver the most effective outcomes for its service users. I live with my partner and our dogs in the Perthshire countryside near Coupar Angus. I look forward to supporting Perth Six Circle and the valuable and worthwhile work it undertakes for its service users and the wider community.
