September – what a month we have had, making sure that we are continuing to follow government guidelines, we have managed to get more of our service users together, which, for some has stretched their comfort zones, for some these have made them realise how much they have missed social interactions.  Below is just some of the things and comments from our service users

• Camping for one night, not everyone could come overnight so they spent the day then after our evening meal went home 
  • That was brilliant
  • When can we go camping again
  • I’ve never been camping and it was so much fun
  • I wish I had stayed
  • I didn’t stay and regretted it, I have bought a tent for the next time we all go camping

 

• High Tea, like most others this was the first time we had all sat down to have a meal in an enclosed space
  • Was so nice to sit down and just chat to my friends
  • We had a blast, catching up after so long
  • I was nervous at first as I haven’t been in a restaurant very much since Covid but the tables had loads of space between them and we all had our masks on until we sat down – I felt very comfortable after that 

 

• Inverness
  • WOW – when are we doing that again?
  • Fandabydozy – Loved it, I felt safe, company was great, loads of laughs
  • Liked the boat ride and the castle
  • I really enjoyed going down to the canal and seeing how it worked
  • When is our next trip?
